Simoa

Simoa® technology, by Quanterix, has delivered the gold standard for earlier biomarker detection in blood, serum or plasma, with the ability to quantify proteins that are far lower than the Level of Quantification (LoQ). This technology allows to support research that advances disease understanding and management in neurology, oncology, immunology, cardiology, and infectious disease.​

The Simoa Bead Technology is changing the way in which the biology of health and disease is studied by offering the ability to examine critical proteins and nucleic acids, at ultra low – even baseline – levels, in most common sample types. It is the first system with this kind of detection capabilities and can detect biomarkers down to the femtomolar level.
